Cholame Car Accident on State Route Highway 46
CHOLAME, Calif. (Oct. 21, 2022) — A two-vehicle crash in Cholame happened Friday morning on Highway 46 also known as Antelope Road, just east of Highway 41 and the Cholame Y.
The collision occurred about 11:37 a.m. on Oct. 21st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a blue Ford Escape and a black Chevrolet Corvette are involved. The Corvette had major driver’s side damage following the crash and the Escape had left side damage.
It’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision in the eastbound lanes of State Route 46, but police are gathering evidence and will determine fault.
Meanwhile, tow trucks responded to remove both of the damaged vehicles and paramedics came to care for anyone hurt in the collision.
