CARMICHAEL, California (October 12, 2016) — A collision between a California Highway Patrol SUV and a station wagon resulted in major injuries at Winding Way and Manzanita Avenue, according to the Sacramento Bee.
The crash took place about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. There were two police officers in the SUV heading northbound on Manzanita at the time of the crash. The other motorist was going eastbound on Winding Way. The vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, but it’s unclear which vehicle had the green light.
Paramedics responded and transported at least the two officers with minor injuries and the other motorist with moderate to major injuries to a hospital.
