Deadly, 2-Vehicle Crash in Isleton at Highways 160 and 12
ISLETON, Calif. (June 9, 2022) — Christian Flores Martinez, 25, of Sacramento. died in a crash at State Route Highway 160 and Highway 12 Thursday, June 2nd, just east of the bridge over the Sacramento River.
Additionally, the two-vehicle collision occurred about 12:37 p.m. in Isleton, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Deputies with the CHP and the Sacramento Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and located two vehicles down an embankment. The drivers of a blue Nissan Pathfinder and a silver Acura were involved in the crash.
Firefighters and paramedics responded, but sadly the young man died following the collision. There are no further details about the drivers and or if there were any passengers in the vehicles.
Meanwhile, the Sacramento County Coroner also responded to the scene of the fatal crash on Highway 160. The coroner later identified Christian Flores Martinez as the man who died.
