Christian Reynoso, 24, Killed in Arvin Hit-and-Run Crash on Weedpatch Highway
ARVIN, CA (August 24, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash killed Christian Reynoso near Weedpatch Highway and Bear Mountain Boulevard in Arvin.
The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified the identified as 24-year-old Tracy man as the victim of the wreck which occurred last week on Thursday.
The incident began when Christian Javier Reynoso was riding a 2020 Suzuki motorcycle south on Weedpatch Highway in Arvin. At the same time, a dark colored SUV was going north.
The California Highway Patrol said the two then collided near Bear Mountain Boulevard. Christian Reynoso ended up ejected from the dirt bike as a result of the crash.
Motorcyclist Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found the rider left lying on the ground. The Bakersfield Now and Kern Golden Empire wrote that he died at the scene.
The accident took place on August 19 shortly after 8:45 p.m. near Lamont.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the driver of the SUV did not stop to render aid to the motorcyclist. The suspect soon fled northbound on Weedpatch.
