Christifer Curtis, 56, Killed in Crash on Highway 99 Friday
Bakersfield, CA (November 23, 2020) – A 56-year-old man died following a traffic collision on Highway 99 Friday morning, the KGET News reported.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office identified the fatal victim as Christifer Bryan Curtis.

Preliminary investigation revealed Curtis was riding a motorcycle traveling north on Highway 99. The horrible crash happened in the area near Highway 58. For reasons still unclear, Curtis collided with a semi truck.
The catastrophic incident took place at approximately 11:35 a.m.
Emergency teams responded to the location and checked the conditions of all people involved. Authorities later confirmed Curtis sadly died as a result of the collision. It remained unclear whether the motorcyclist died at the scene or at a hospital.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the truck operator.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the unfortunate event.
