Christina Humphrey, 47, Killed in Thousand Palms Hit-and-Run at Varner and Ramon
THOUSAND PALMS, CA (November 26, 2021) – Christina Humphrey was killed after a hit-and-run crash at Varner and Ramon roads in Thousand Palms.
The coroner’s office identified the 47-year-old Thousand Palms woman as the victim in the fatal collision which took place on Thursday.
The incident happened when two vehicles struck Christina Humphrey for an unknown reason in Thousand Palms. The drivers hit her at the intersection of Varner and Ramon roads.
Pedestrian Hit by 2 Cars
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found the pedestrian lying on the ground. She sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash.
The California Highway Patrol confirmed that Christina Humphrey died at the scene. The Desert Sun and KESQ News wrote that the accident occurred on November 25 at about 5:26 p.m.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the first driver in a black Kia Rio stopped and stayed at the site. The second motorist in a silver SUV continued southbound on Varner Road.
The cause of the Thousand Palms hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
