Christopher Bell Hit-and-Run Crash San Joaquin County Highway 4

Christopher Bell Seriously Injured in San Joaquin County Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 4

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA (August 10, 2021) – Christopher Bell was seriously injured after a hit-and-run crash on Highway 4 in San Joaquin County.

The East County Today and CBS Sacramento identified the Stockton man as the victim of the wreck which took place last month on July 16.

The incident happened when Christopher Bell was riding a motorcycle on Highway 4 in San Joaquin County. At the same time, a vehicle was unsafely trying to pass motorists.

Motorcyclist Hit by Car

The driver then began to swerve but in the process, struck the motorcyclist head-on. The rider ended up in a ditch full of water on a remote part of the highway between Stockton and Discovery Bay.

Christopher Bell sustained severe injuries to his foot as a result of the San Joaquin County crash. An air ambulance took the victim to the John Muir Medical Center for treatment.

Meanwhile, officers affirmed that the motorist who hit the victim did not stop to render aid and fled the area. They described the car involved as a red colored pickup truck.

The Highway 4 crash is still under investigation. Anyone with information can call call the California Highway Patrol at 209-938-4800.
