LONG BEACH, California (October 23, 2016) – Christopher Delgado, 22, of South Gate was killed and three were critically injured in a traffic collision on Shoreline Drive Sunday, according to The Press Telegram.
The solo-car crash was reported just after midnight on southbound Shoreline Drive, north of Broadway.
As per the article, police said a 22-year-old South Gate man was driving a 2002 Ford Focus on Shoreline Drive under the 6th Street underpass when for an unknown reason he lost control of the vehicle.
The Ford then went over the center median and struck a palm tree.
Police affirmed that the driver, Delgado, died at the scene.
His three passengers were all taken to a hospital and listed in critical condition.
