Christopher Hendrickson Fatal Motorcycle Accident Hacienda Drive in Vista

Motorcycle Rider, 19, Killed in Vista Car Accident

VISTA, Calif. (May 16, 2024) — Christopher Hendrickson, 19, of Vista, died last Thursday in a motorcycle versus accident on Hacienda Drive in Vista.

The two-vehicle collision occurred near 2070 Hacienda Drive on May 9th, according to a press release by the San Diego Medical Examiner.

The young man was riding a Suzuki motorcycle along Hacienda Drive when a driver in a Subaru hatchback turned left in front of him and he crashed.

Paramedics responded and rushed the injured motorcyclist to Tri-City Medical Center, but he died at around 1:25 p.m. the same day. His death came the day before his 20th birthday.

The San Diego Sheriff’s Department is heading up the investigation into the crash. The roadway was closed down for the investigation between Via Centre and Thunder Drive.
