A 23-year-old Motorcyclist Killed in Crash is Identified
BURBANK, Calif. (May 10, 2024) – Christopher Torres, 23, has been identified as the motorcycle rider killed in a crash with a car at Olive Avenue and Beachwood Drive in Burbank.
The deadly crash occurred at around 10:10 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8th at the Burbank intersection, according to the Burbank Police Department.
The 23-year-old San Fernando man suffered major injuries and was transported to a hospital where he later died, police said. The Los Angeles County Sheriff-Coroner later identified him as Christopher Torres.
Meanwhile, the driver of the car involved in the collision stopped and cooperated with investigators, authorities said.
Drugs and or alcohol were not believed to be factors in the collision. However, at least one of the vehicles was likely traveling at an unsafe speed, police said.
There were no arrests reported at this time.
