Rancho Mirage Crash Highway 111 and Frank Sinatra Road
RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. (December 19, 2019) – Christopher Vellios, 26, of Indio, died in a pedestrian accident Wednesday afternoon on Highway 111 at Frank Sinatra Road.
The crash was reported at 5:20 p.m. near the Rancho Mirage City Hall, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
It’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision at the intersection of Highway 111 and Frank Sinatra Road.
Police and Cal Fire – Riverside County Fire Department officials responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Police closed down the intersection and are heading up an investigation into what caused the accident.
