Christopher Von Moos, 45, Killed in Head-On Crash at Goetz Road and Goldenrod Avenue
Menifee, CA (November 1, 2020) – A 45-year-old man died in a traffic collision that occurred in the area of Goetz Road and Goldenrod Avenue Saturday evening.
According to an article published by My News LA, Christopher Von Moos was driving a 1996 Harley Davidson motorcycle. Von Moos, of Perris, was heading southbound on Goetz Road. Our sources indicated the man was taveling on the wrong side of the road.
The unfortunate incident happened when the motorcyclist approached the intersection at Goldenrod Avenue. Von Moos crashed head-on into a pickup.
Shortly after 6:23 p.m., emergency teams responded to the collision and found the rider ejected from his bike. Officials later confirmed Von Moos sadly died as a result of the wreck.

Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck reportedly suffered moderate injuries in the crash. An acquaintance of Von Moos riding a separate motorcycle reportedly assaulted the pickup driver, resulting in his injuries.
Police identified the alleged attacker as 33-year-old Blake Allen Anderson, of Menifee. Per local news source, Anderson was arrested on suspicion of various crimes, including driving under the influence and assault and battery.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
