Fatal Off-Road Collision Near Trail Marker SC186
Mojave, CA (October 12, 2022) – Christopher Wright, a 48-year-old man, died following a motor-vehicle accident that occurred approximately 3 miles west of State Route Highway 14.
The Bakersfield Now, and Bakersfield.com reported Wright was riding an off-road vehicle driving along a trail in Mojave. For reasons still unclear, Wright collided with another off-highway vehicle.
Our sources indicated the horrible crash took place October 8, at about 5:15 p.m.
Deadly Accident on Highway 14 in Mojave
When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found one person unconscious. Responding paramedics sadly pronounced the drive dead at the scene. The Kern County coroner’s office identified the deceased as Christopher Wright.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the other driver involved in the crash.
Several factors surrounding the incident remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the fatal accident happened on Highway 14 in Mojave.
