2-Car Crash on 805 Freeway in Chula Vista Wednesday
LOCATION: Chula Vista
DATE OF COLLISION: Wednesday, September 26th
September 28, 2018 – A traffic collision occurred early Wednesday on the northbound Interstate 805 Freeway, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Primary reports indicated two vehicle collided for unknown reasons on the part of the interstate near Highway 52.
Shortly after 6 a.m., emergency personnel rushed to the location and attended to the parties involved. It was not immediately clear if there were injuries in the crash.
At this time, the detectives handling the case continue to work to determine exactly what triggered the accident.

California Highway Patrol will carry out a forensic examination of the two vehicles involved, as well as photos that were taken of the scene, will help investigators draw up a firm conclusion for what happened. Authorities will thoroughly look into how fast each driver was going, whether or not alcohol or drugs were involved, whether or not there were any mechanical issues with either vehicle, whether or not one of the drivers ran a red light or simply did not yield to the right of way motorist.
