Woman Hospitalized After Collision at Moss and 4th
Chula Vista, CA (February 3, 2023) – One person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Moss Street and 4th Avenue, according to 911 News.
Earlier reports indicated two vehicles collided at the intersection in Chula Vista. Officials said a female party was behind the wheel of a Honda heading south on 4th Avenue, approaching Moss Street. At about the same time, a male party was driving a Honda traveling north on 4th Avenue. The crash happened when the male driver made a left hand turn onto westbound Moss, and ended up veering into the path of the female driver.
At Least 1 Injured in Chula Vista Car Accident
Shortly after 7:50 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the crash site. First responders checked the conditions of both the male and female motorists. After the evaluation, paramedics transported the injured woman to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives assigned to handle the case stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate who had the right of way when the accident happened at Moss Street and 4th Avenue in Chula Vista.
