Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian at H Street and Minot Avenue
Chula Vista, CA (April 14, 2022) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred in the area of H Street and Minot Avenue, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
Our sources indicated a vehicle struck an individual at the intersection in Chula Vista. Authorities mentioned the collision took place Thursday evening.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Chula Vista
Shortly after 9:05 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found the victim lying in the roadway. Despite life-saving measures, the pedestrian sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. Officials continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
No immediate information was available on the motorist involved in the crash.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event remained unclear. Given that, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly pedestrian accident happened at H Street and Minot Avenue.
