3-Vehicle Collision on I-5 Freeway
CHULA VISTA, Calif. (May 29, 2024) — A multi-vehicle crash in Chula Vista happened Wednesday morning on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway near the J Street on ramp.
The three-vehicle collision occurred at around 10:41 a.m. on May 29th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a blue GMC SUV, a gray Chevrolet Silverado and a gray Honda were involved.
A woman called 911 to report debris from the northbound side struck her vehicle on the southbound side of the freeway.
Paramedics responded and located two people with complaints of pain who were transported to a hospital for examination and treatment.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the 5 Freeway in Chula Vista.
