AT&T Worker Hurt in Chula Vista Car Accident
CHULA VISTA, Calif. (Nov. 3, 2021) — A Chula Vista pedestrian accident left an AT&T worker with serious injuries Wednesday morning after being struck by a car on C Street.
A 28-year-old driver traveling westbound on C Street in a red car struck the worker who was standing in the street next to his parked service truck.
Additionally, the collision happened just after 10:50 a.m. near 5th Avenue, according to San Diego 10 News. Upon impact, the car to rolled forward and collided with the service truck vehicle.

Also, the worker became trapped underneath one of the vehicles.
Chula Vista Firefighters and police responded and pulled the injured man out from under the car. A bystander was there using a car jack to lift the car.
Paramedics transported the injured worker to a local trauma center. Doctors are treating him for serious life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the red car suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital. The red car suffered major front-end damage in the collision.
Furthermore, investigators seek to determine the cause of the crash.
