Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle at North California Boulevard at Civic Drive
Walnut Creek, CA (October 9, 2022) – Chung Thuy Le, a 44-year-old woman, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of North California Boulevard at Civic Drive.
The KRON4 and CBS News reported Le was walking in the streets of Walnut Creek after closing the Lavender Dreams Nail Spa Saturday evening. Our sources indicated the woman stared attempted crossed the intersection of North California and Civic. For reasons still unclear, a passing sedan struck the woman.
The horrible crash took place at approximately 7 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the accident scene, they found the female pedestrian suffering in serious injuries. Paramedics rendered first aid to the victim, then transporter her to a hospital for further treatment. Sadly, the patient eventually succumbed to her injuries and died. Authorities later identified the fatal victim as Chung Thuy Le.
Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash in Walnut Creek
The article published online mentioned the driver fled the scene after hitting the pedestrian. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
