Ciana Leehang Badly Injured in Oakland Pedestrian Crash at 54th and Adeline
OAKLAND, CA (March 4, 2023) – Ciana Leehang was badly injured after a pedestrian crash at 54th and Adeline streets in Oakland.
According to an article published by the KRON 4 News, the accident took place on Thursday. Officers reported the collision in the afternoon of March 2.
The incident happened when Ciana Leehang was crossing the intersection of 54th and Adeline streets in Oakland. For an unknown reason, a pickup truck hit her near a children’s hospital.
Victim Hit by Car
Oakland police said the car struck the victim as she started walking in the crosswalk. Ciana Leehang sustained a severe contusion on her lower back as a result of the pedestrian accident.
Paramedics arrived and then rushed the woman to a hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid and fled the area.
Officers forced the corner of 54th and Adeline streets to shut down for a time following the incident. The cause of the Oakland pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
