Ciriaco Santiago Gomez Killed in Orange Cove Crash on Manning Avenue
Washington Man, 36, Identified as Crash Victim
ORANGE COVE, Calif. (Feb. 7, 2025) – Ciriaco Santiago Gomez, 36, has been identified as the passenger who died in a crash on Manning Avenue in Orange Cove, California.
The Aberdeen, Washington man was riding as a passenger in a Honda Accord sedan when it was involved in a solo crash, according to the Fresno County Coroner’s Office.
The rollover collision occurred around 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5th o Manning Avenue, just west of Hansen Avenue in Orange Cove.
The driver of the Honda Accord was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed in the eastbound lanes of Manning Avenue. Then the motorist made an abrupt turn towards the right shoulder, went off the roadway, hit several trees and overturned in an orange orchard.
The car overturned and Ciriaco Santiago Gomez was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle fled on foot and the Orange Cove Police Department has not yet found the person.
