5 Injured Citrus Heights Crash on Greenback Lane
CITRUS HEIGHTS (June 19, 2018) – Several people were injured after a traffic accident along Greenback Lane late Monday night, according to KCRA and FOX 40 News.
The accident started when two cars became involved in a minor collision just after 10 p.m. near Brookhaven Way.
As per the reports, Citrus Heights police said some Good Samaritans and the occupants involved in the initial crash were outside their cars when they were struck by a white Chevy Tahoe.

For an unknown reason, the Tahoe drove through and hit the victims who were either standing on the road or by the curb.
At least five patients were confirmed to have been hurt as a result of the wreck. Two women were rushed to the hospital and were listed in critical condition, while the other three individuals sustained minor injuries.
The names of the parties involved were not released. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver of the Tahoe was arrested for providing false information. The incident is still under investigation.
