Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-80 at Antelope Road in Citrus Heights
CITRUS HEIGHTS, Calif. (May 10, 2022) — A multi-vehicle Citrus Heights crash on the Interstate 80 Freeway happened Tuesday morning near Antelope Road.
The 4-vehicle collision occurred in the westbound lanes about 7:39 a.m. on May 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a white sedan, two blue sedans and a green semi-truck collided due to unknown circumstances.
Debris was scattered across all traffic lanes on the Interstate 80.
Meanwhile, at least one person reported minor injuries from the collision.
The Sacramento Fire Department responded with paramedics to transport the injured to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the Citrus Heights crash.
