Motorcyclist Killed in Citrus Heights on Auburn Boulevard
CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (October 15, 2022) – A crash killed a motorcycle rider on Auburn Boulevard in Citrus Heights.
According to The Sacramento Bee and ABC 10 News, the tragic accident took place on Friday night. Officers reported the wreck on October 14 at around 8 p.m.
Citrus Heights said the incident happened when the motorcyclist and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed in the 8100 block of Auburn Boulevard.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and then found the rider lying on the ground. The patient sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police added that the other driver stopped and stayed at the site following the wreck. Officers forced a stretch of Auburn to shut down near Rollingwood Boulevard and Sandalwood Drive for about five hours after the incident.
