Motorcycle, Car Accident on I-80 Freeway in Citrus Heights
CITRUS HEIGHTS, Calif. (May 19, 2021) — A Citrus Heights motorcycle accident happened Wednesday morning on the Interstate 80 Freeway.
The 11:12 a.m. crash on May 19th involved a black Harley Davidson motorcycle and a red Honda Accord sedan, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Also, the Citrus Heights motorcycle accident resulted in the temporary closure of the Nos. 4 and 5 lanes of the freeway.
Additionally, paramedics responded and transported the injured motorcyclist to the hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. Police did not release the victim’s name, nor the name of the other driver involved.
Meanwhile, investigators are working on resolving liability for the crash based on evidence and statements on scene.
