Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Collision on Highway 80 Near Antelope Road Wednesday
Citrus Heights, CA (May 19, 2021) – A motorcycle rider suffered injuries following a traffic accident on Interstate 80, also known as Dwight Eisenhower Highway, Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the motorcyclist collided with a red Honda Accord in the eastbound side of Highway 80. The crash took place between the area of Antelope Weight Station and Antelope Road.
CHP logged the incident at about 11:11 a.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found the motorcyclist lying down on the road. Paramedics rendered aid to the man, and later determined he sustained minor injuries from the crash. Authorities said an ambulance rushed the injured rider to a hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
Additional details on the motorcycle accident in Citrus Heights remained unclear. Given that, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise case of the collision.
