Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Citrus Heights Crash at Old Auburn and Loi Linda
CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (July 3, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Old Auburn Road and Loi Linda Lane in Citrus Heights.
According to the FOX 40 News and ABC 10 News, the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:55 p.m.
The incident happened on July 2 when the motorcycle rider and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in Citrus Heights. Police said the two crashed at the intersection of Old Auburn Road and Loi Linda Lane.
Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist who sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police forced the area of Old Auburn and Loi Linda to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Citrus Heights crash is still under investigation.
