CITY HEIGHTS, San Diego (May 21, 2016) – Two people were injured after a Fire-Rescue engine collided with a vehicle on University Avenue near 40th Street, according to an article by ABC 10.
The accident happened on May 18 at around 10:20 a.m.
As per the report, the fire engine was responding to an emergency call when it crashed with a vehicle.
The force from the impact resulted in two parties suffering in injuries of unknown severity. Both were taken to a hospital for proper treatment.
It was not immediately known which vehicle was occupied by the injured individuals.
Investigators assigned to handle this incident will continue to gather more evidence as there are several factors that remain unclear.
