Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian on Interstate 805 Thursday
San Diego, CA (July 22, 2021) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 805 near City Heights Thursday, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
According to the article published online, an individual was sen roaming on the freeway just north of State Route Highway 94. Officials said a vehicle traveling on the freeway eventually struck the pedestrian walking in the southbound lanes.

Medical personnel arrived at the crash site shortly after 1:20 a.m. Despite life-saving measures, the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries and died. Police continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned the driver of the vehicle involved in the catastrophic incident stopped after the impact. The motorist cooperated with the investigation process as obliged by law.
