Pedestrian Hospitalized After Collision Near Fairmount Avenue Sunday
City Heights, CA (March 6, 2022) – A pedestrian accident occurred on Home Avenue Sunday, the San Diego Union Tribune reported.
Officials said a male party ran for an unknown reason into the westbound traffic lanes of Home Avenue. An oncoming Toyota Prius was not able to stop on time. According to the article published online, the motorist struck the pedestrian in the area near Fairmount Avenue.
The collision took place at about 3:45 a.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found the pedestrian with serious injuries. An ambulance then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment of several trauma including broken ribs, and a lacerated spleen.
Authorities mentioned the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation process.
