Salvador Becerra‑Vallejo, 31, Seriously Hurt in Lakeville Highway Crash
The Toyota Tacoma driven by 31-year-old Salvador Becerra‑Vallejo was going north when for an unknown reason he swerved into the southbound lane of the highway. Becerra‑Vallejo sideswiped a empty tanker and ultimately hit the Lexus.
CHP affirmed that Wieszcyk was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. The crash took place at approximately 7:10 a.m. near Old Lakeville No. 3 Road.
Meanwhile, Becerra‑Vallejo was brought to Napa’s Queen of the Valley Medical Center with major injuries. Authorities are still investigating what exactly caused the incident.
Personal Injury Lawyer
In this case, there are several questions that need to be resolved in order to determine the liability in the crash. Was the driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs a factor? Did excessive speed or distracted driving play a role? Why did the driver of the Toyota Tacoma veer into the opposite lane? Was he reckless or negligent at some point?
Once the investigation is over and it proves that a negligent party has disregarded the safety of other people on the road, the injured and held not responsible for the collision may have the right to pursue a personal injury lawsuit seeking compensation for all the hospital bills, future medical needs, lost income, and pain and suffering.
