San Bernardino Woman, 82, Killed in Crash at Intersection
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (Oct. 12, 2022) — Clara Santiago, 82, of San Bernardino, died Saturday in a collision at Waterman Avenue and 16th Street in San Bernardino.
The collision occurred about 2:42 a.m. on Saturday, October 8th, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
The San Bernardino Police Department responded to the intersection after someone called 911 to report the traffic collision.
They located a passenger from a vehicle identified as Clara Santiago suffering from major injuries. Paramedics transported the San Bernardino woman by ambulance to Loma Linda University Medical Center. Sadly, she did not survive and was pronounced dead at 3:30 a.m., the report said.
Meanwhile, investigators with the San Bernardino Police Department are heading up the investigation.
