2 Hospitalized After Car Crash on Interstate 10 Tuesday
Claremont, CA (June 22, 2021) – Two people suffered serious injuries following a car accident on Interstate 10 Freeway Tuesday morning.
According to On Scene TV, a tire was seen lying on the freeway at about 4:15 a.m. The article published online indicated two vehicles apparently hit the tire and pulled to the shoulder. Subsequently, two additional vehicles crashed into the debris.
Responding emergency teams discovered at the scene a Mini Cooper with significant damage. Firefighters reportedly extricated two victims trapped in the wreckage. Per local news source, rescue teams used the Jaw of Life to pull out the people trapped in the Mini Cooper.

Shortly after, ambulances rushed the two patients to the hospital for treatment of severe injuries. The names of the injured parties, and their conditions at this time remained undisclosed.
Police shut down the eastbound side of Interstate 10 Freeway to give way to the investigation process. Detectives continue to determine liability in the car accident in Claremont.
