2-Vehicle Claremont Crash on Interstate 210 Freeway
CLAREMONT, Calif. (Jan. 10, 2022) — A Claremont crash on the Interstate 210 Freeway happened early Monday morning near the Base Line Road off ramp.
The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of the I-210 Freeway at about 5:21 a.m. on Jan. 10th between two motorists, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials report a driver in a white Hyundai sedan crashed into a stalled red Lexus sedan in the middle lane of the freeway.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help those hurt in the two-vehicle crash and police issued a SigAlert on the blue. The vehicles involved and emergency vehicles blocked the HOV and Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes. It’s unknown if paramedics transported anyone to a hospital following the Claremont crash on the 210 Freeway.
Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are also at the scene in unmarked vehicles, police said.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed both vehicles and debris from the traffic lanes. Traffic lanes all reopened by 6:46 a.m.
Investigators will determine liability for the two-vehicle crash.
