Teenager Fatally Struck by Vehicle at Highway 12 and Emperor Drive
Suisun City, CA (May 23, 2022) – Police arrested 58-year-old Clarence Earl Johnson in relation with a deadly pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of Highway 12 and Emperor Drive.
The KRON and ABC News published articles online reporting a hit-and-run collision that took place in Suisun City on May 14, Saturday. Our sources indicated a motorist struck a 15-year-old student along Highway 12 near Emperor Drive. Following the crash, the driver apparently took off.
When rescue teams arrived at the site, they immediately rendered aid to the injured teenager. Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, the victim sadly succumbed to his injuries and died.
Hit-and-Run Suspect Arrested After Deadly Collision in Suisun City
Meanwhile, officers eventually identified the hit-and-run suspect as Clarence Earl Johnson. Police arrested the 58-year-old driver from Fairfield, and charged him with vehicular manslaughter and hit-and-run resulting in death or injury.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
