CLARKSBURG, YOLO COUNTY (March 28, 2016)- According to the Sacramento Bee, a deadly solo vehicle crash was reported Saturday evening, March 26th, along South River Road.
At 7:00 p.m., the driver of a Nissan Pathfinder, Brad Carper, 53, of Sacramento, was traveling southbound along South River Road accompanied by two passengers. Carper suddenly lost control of the vehicle and attempted to regain control before over correcting forcing the Nissan to overturn down an embankment.
Carper and one of the two passengers were both ejected from the vehicle.
The 53-year-old man sadly did not survive the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second victim ejected suffered a lacerated spleen and required immediate medical assistance before being transported to a local area health center.
The third motorist escaped serious injury and only had minor aches and pains.
California Highway Patrol officials are investigating the collision.
