Clifford Adams, 53, Hits 2 People Along Roberts Avenue
Santa Rosa, CA (March 31, 2021) – Police arrested 53-year-old Clifford Adams in relation with a fatal hit-and-run collision on Roberts Avenue, the FOX40 News reported.
On March 23, Tuesday, Clifford Adams was reportedly involved in a fight with another man near a homeless camp in Santa Rosa. While in the middle of an argument, Clifford Adams got into his vehicle and apparently intentionally hit the man he was arguing with.
Our sources indicated Clifford Adams struck the male party, and another female bystander.
Deadly Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident in Santa Rosa, March 23
Shortly after 9:50 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the site and found the woman pinned underneath the vehicle. Authorities later confirmed the female victim, 43-year-old Kellie Jones, sadly died as a result of the collision.
Earlier reports mentioned Clifford Adams fled the scene before police arrived. On March 30, officers located and arrested the hit-and-run suspect in Sacramento. Officers initially booked Adams into the Sacramento County Main Jail on suspicion of homicide and attempted homicide. Police transported the suspect back to Sonoma County where they booked him into the Sonoma County Jail.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
