 Clifton Manning Fatal Wilmington Crash Avalon Blvd., PCHMan Killed in Wilmington Crash is Identified

WILMINGTON, Calif. (July 26, 2021) – Clifton Manning, 39, died in a Wilmington pedestrian accident early Monday morning at Avalon Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway.

Also, a driver in a vehicle struck the man as he was crossing a Wilmington street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department‘s Operations Center.

The deadly pedestrian accident happened just after midnight on the morning of July 26th. Also, a southbound vehicle traveling on Avalon Boulevard struck the victim.

Man Killed in Wilmington Pedestrian Accident May be Homeless

Additionally, authorities believe the pedestrian who died was homeless. The coroner pronounced Clifton Manning dead at the scene of the fatal Wilmington pedestrian accident.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle stopped and cooperated with the police investigation. Authorities temporarily closed down the roadway for the investigation and they would like witnesses to contact them. No further information at this time.
