Oakdale, CA (July 31, 2022)Clinton Tutthill, a 45-year-old man, died following a car accident that occurred in the area of 26 Mile and Eastman Road.

The Modesto Bee News reported two vehicles collided head-on at the intersection near Woodward Reservoir in Oakdale. Officials described the cars involved in the wreck as a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, and a 2013 Ford F-150 pickup.

According to the article published online, the driver of the Chevrolet allowed the car to veer into the opposite lane. The Chevrolet ended up crashing head-on into the Ford, driven by Clinton Tutthill.

The catastrophic incident took place around 3:45 p.m.

Deadly Car Accident at 26 Mile and Eastman Road

When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found both drivers unconscious. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victims, but they both sadly succumbed to their injuries and passed away. The California Highway Patrol group identified one of the fatality, the driver of the Ford, as Clinton Tutthill.

Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. They continue to investigate exactly how and why deadly accident happened at 26 Mile and Eastman Road in Oakdale.
