Bicycle Rider Seriously Injured in Clovis Crash at Ashlan and Willow
CLOVIS, CA (June 4, 2023) – A bicycle rider was seriously injured after a crash at Ashlan and Willow avenues in Clovis.
According to The Fresno Bee and Your Central Valley, the accident took place late Saturday night. Officers reported the collision on June 3 at about 10:20 p.m.
Police said the incident happened when for an unknown reason, a car struck a man riding a bicycle in the city. The vehicle hit him at the intersection of East Ashlan and Willow avenues.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the cyclist hurt. He sustained major injuries as a result of the accident.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to the Community Regional Medical Center for treatment. The reports did not disclose the name of the wounded party and his condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police added that the driver stopped and stayed at the site following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Ashlan and Willow avenues to shut down after the incident.
