Passenger Seriously Injured in Clovis Crash at Highway 168 and Shepherd AvenueCLOVIS (June 19, 2020) - A passenger was seriously injured after a traffic collision at the intersection of Highway 168 and Shepherd Avenue on Friday evening. According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the major accident involving two vehicles took place at around 7:53 p.m. Their report log indicated that a white Ford pickup truck and a red Chevrolet Blazer collided for an unknown reason on westbound Highway 168 at East Shepherd Avenue.

Medical personnel then transported the patient to the hospital with a broken wrist. The name and condition of the wounded party at this time were not disclosed. Meanwhile, CHP mentioned that both vehicles were headed towards Fresno when the crash occurred. Officers temporarily blocked the roadway following the wreck. Authorities are still investigating what exactly caused the incident.
