CLOVIS, California 9march 26, 2017) – One was hospitalized after a head-on collision on Auberry Road Sunday evening, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident took place about 6:18 p.m., just north of The Clovis Castle near Summer Mountain Road.
CHP said two vehicles plunged down an embankment after colliding head-on on Auberry Road. One of the involved, described as a white car, reportedly overturned onto its roof upon impact.
As per the incident log, paramedics responded to the scene and transported at least one person to a nearby hospital with a head injury. The name and condition of the patient at this time remained unknown.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
