COACHELLA, California (October 1, 2015) — Two people suffered major injuries Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Frederick Street Between Avenue 50 and Avenue 51, according to a report by the CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to the 2:44 p.m. crash between two passenger vehicles where one person had to be extricated from the wreckage.
Two people were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital where they are being treated for major injuries.
A police investigation is underway to determine liability.
