COACHELLA, California (June 9, 2015) — Seven people were injured Monday night in a collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Airport Boulevard and Tyler Street, according to a press release by the Riverside County Fire Department.
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to help one person with moderate injuries and six others with minor injuries. Several ambulances were required to transport victims to multiple hospitals for treatment.
The report said there were 15 firefighters, two engines and one truck at the scene to help victims including a Medic Squad.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash to determine liability.
