COACHELLA: DUI Crash on Avenue 52; Victor Tellez Arrested

Coachella DUI crash Avenue 52; Victor Tellez DUI arrestedCOACHELLA (January 3, 2016)- According to the Press-Enterprise, a single vehicle DUI crash caused injuries to a passenger and led to man’s arrest Sunday evening on Avenue 52.

Riverside County sheriff’s officials responded to the crash site at roughly 5:30 p.m. where a man identified as Victor Tellez, 33, had crashed his vehicle into a parked car.

Tellez’s passenger who was not identified by name suffered head trauma and was transported by ambulance to a hospital. The victim’s current condition remains unclear at this time.

Meanwhile, Tellez was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and currently is being held at the Indio Detention Center on $50,000 bail.
