At Least 1 Killed After Traffic Accident at Avenue 53 and Calhoun Street Tuesday
Coachella, CA (December 15, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol reported a fatal traffic collision that occurred in the area of Avenue 53 and Calhoun Street Tuesday evening.
CHP logged the accident at about 6:20 p.m.
Initial records indicated the catastrophic incident involved a cement truck and a motorcycle rider. For reasons still unclear, the two motorists collided at the Coachella intersection.
When emergency teams arrived at the location, they found a black Honda motorbike down on the roadway.

Responding paramedics rendered aid to all the possible victims. Our sources later confirmed one person sadly died in the tragic incident. Police continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
