Rider Hospitalized After Collision on Dillon Road
Coachella, CA (June 26, 2022) – A motorcyclist suffered injuries following a traffic crash that occurred on Dillon Road on June 23, Thursday.
The KESQ News reported a man riding a motorbike collided with a semi truck on Dillon Road near the TA Travel Center. Officials mentioned the accident took place at about 2:15 p.m.
When medical personnel arrived, they immediately checked the conditions of all parties involved in the wreck. After the evaluation, authorities mentioned the motorcycle rider sustained major trauma as a result of the crash. Paramedics transported the patient to a local hospital for further treatment. Pending confirmation, the identity of the injured party remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver of the truck.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. They continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the collision on Dillon Road in Coachella.
