1 Hospitalized After Fiery Crash on Interstate 5 Wednesday
Coalinga, CA (October 13, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a big rig accident on the Interstate 5 Freeway.
On Wednesday, a semi truck reportedly crashed into the back of another truck. The collision took place near 25th Avenue.
The ABC30 News published an article online mentioned on big rig ended up fully engulfed in flames.
Shortly after 2:30 p.m., firefighters arrived and worked extensively to put out the fire.

Our sources indicated one truck driver was airlifted to the hospital for treatment of severe injuries. It remained unclear if the broken leg of the victim required major surgery.
Meanwhile, the other truck operator appeared unharmed after the collision.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine several factors surrounding the big rig accident on Interstate 5 Freeway in Coalinga.
