Major Injury Crash on Sutter Avenue in Fresno County
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 11, 2023) – A two-vehicle car accident in Coalinga happened Tuesday night on Sutter Avenue, just south of Jayne Avenue in Fresno County.
The collision occurred at around 6 p.m. on Oct. 10th, according to Your Central Valley news.
Paramedics responded and requested a medical helicopter to airlift at least one injured person to a hospital due to major injuries.
Additionally, at least one of the vehicles caught on fire and ignited a small grass fire in the area. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
The cause of the Coalinga accident and liability remain under investigation.
