Head-on Crash in Coarsegold on State Route Highway 41
COARSEGOLD, Calif. (August 26, 2021) — A Coarsegold car accident happened Thursday morning on Highway 41 near Road 200.
The head-on collision took place about 6:46 a.m. on August 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported the collision involved a silver Honda Accord that was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes. The driver collided head-on into a southbound black vehicle.
Paramedics responded due to minor injuries due to the Coarsegold car accident on Highway 41, just south of Road 200. The CHP report did not mention how many people sustained injuries in the collision. Also, it’s unknown if paramedics transported anyone to a hospital.
Additionally, one of the vehicles wound up roughly 60 feet off the roadway, police said.
Two tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles.
Meanwhile, police did not mention if there were any arrests or citations. Investigators seek to determine liability for the collision.
